The Bacchae Wine Bar in Cape Canaveral is our favorite place to go out for wine.
This locally owned, chic bar boasts more than 100 different types of wine, including fine and rare wines, at reasonable, retail-level prices.
The focus here is on smaller, sustainable vineyards, wines you might otherwise not have a chance to taste. The menu spans mostly organic or biodynamic wines, as well as an impressive selection of food, artisanal cheese boards, homemade bites and scrumptious charcuterie boards.
Wine selection changes weekly, in addition to a handful of popular staples. And in true good wine bar style, if you buy a bottle and don't finish it, you can take the rest home in a sealed bag.
Bacchae's food is carefully chosen to complement its wine and aims to be only the highest quality. Walnut arugula pesto flatbread. Spicy hand-cured Spanish chorizo poached in red wine and garlic.
