From 12 to 18 March across Italy, Italian craft beer is going to be celebrated and in a big way. Organised by renowned beer Italian beer blog, Cronache di Birra, the 2018 Italian Craft Beer Festival will see events take place throughout the country. Rome in particular is home to a host of fun and exciting events, designed to promote beer makers, experts, sellers and drinkers! Some of the activities planned for the eternal city include a very special pizza dinner (because in Italy, pizza is always eaten accompanied by beer) with famed pizza chef Gabriele Bonci at the about-to-be-launched talented newcomer Pier Daniele Seu's 'Seu Pizza Illuminati' (14 March); cheese and beer aperitifs throughout the week at renowned cheese purveyor Beppe e i Suoi Formaggi; a 'Ball of the Debutante's' showcase of new and exciting craft beer products at the enormous food hall that is Eataly (9-11 March); and Domenico Stile (Michelin star chef of Enoteca La Torre) will serve up his creation of suckling pig marinated with Salinae beer throughout. For full program details across Rome and Italy, visit the Cronache di Birra website (www.cronachedibirra.it).
