Who says that a shopping center has to only be about clothing or shoes? In historic Fell's Point, Broadway Market is the place to visit if you want a taste of local flavor at its best. Here, locals eat, shop, and relax. There are two buildings that make up the market which was first built in 1785. Although the market is the oldest of the city's existing market buildings, the interiors are now thoroughly renovated. People come here to pick up lunch while they're in the neighborhood but this is also a great choice for local crafts, fresh flowers, specialty foods and gourmet items. All items that make for great gifts (or souvenirs). Need an idea? Pick up a slab of raspberry crumb cake and enjoy it outside while taking in the waterfront view.
