Baja Beans

Baja Beans isn't a place you'll accidentally stumble upon. It's located off a dirt road in the small town of Pescadero, just south of Todos Santos. But this locals' favorite is well worth seeking out, not only for the superb coffees, but also the fine food and rustic outdoor atmosphere. The company sources their beans from Finca Los Puentos in the Sierra Madre Oriental of Xicotepec, Puebla, roasts them with a vintage 1980s Probat roaster, and sells the finished product to many of the region's best hotels and restaurants. The onsite café and restaurant also offers pastries and other light fare, which can be enjoyed al fresco amid the sprawling property's mango trees. Sunday is the best day visit, with brunch specials like vegetarian frittatas, as well as a farmer's market and live music.
