Located in trendy East Nashville, I Dream of Weenie is no ordinary hot dog stand. Operated out of a bright yellow, retro VW bus, the laidback vibe of this dining spot attracts quite a loyal following of locals. Not to mention, the menu is as delicious as it is unique. Open for lunch (and brunch on Sundays), adventurous eaters should try the Flamin' Frank, a real HOT dog, topped with spicy chili, mustard, onions, cheese, salsa and jalapeno peppers. For a taste of local flavor, go for the Rebel Yelp: mustard, onions, jalapeno peppers and Tennessee Chow Chow. If you're lucky enough to be around for Weenie Brunch on Sundays, items like The Elvis (grilled banana with brown sugar glaze and peanut butter) or French Weenie (breakfast sausage links, powdered sugar, Maple syrup and a French-toasted hot dog bun) will be on the menu.
