Bear Moon Bakery & Cafe

If your stay in San Antonio is near the northwest side, it is well worth continuing up IH-10 West and exiting in Boerne. On Main Street, you will find Bear Moon Bakery & Café. They offer the most amazing pastries and homemade breads during the day to passing locals and tourists who visit Boerne for shopping. Bear Moon also has great coffee that rivals Starbucks! They offer a full buffet for breakfast and you can choose to eat indoors or out. (We recommend that you eat either indoors or right in front of the café as the side tables expose you to garden hoses and an alley that is less than picturesque. With all that said, we still love this place and highly recommend!) When it comes to breakfast, choose homemade oatmeal, sausage links, pancakes or scrambled eggs. Bear Moon also offers a selection of fruit and pastries as part of the buffet.
