The Bose TV Speaker helps you hear your TV better. It’s a small sound bar that clarifies speech and improves overall TV sound. Inside the TV speaker there are two full-range drivers angled to deliver wide, spacious sound and a center tweeter specifically focused on elevating vocals. Built-in Dolby decoding helps further enhance this compact TV speaker’s audio capabilities to deliver a more realistic and satisfying listening experience. Designed with simplicity in mind, this small soundbar only uses a single connection to the TV via an optical audio cable (included) or an HDMI cable (sold separately) and has you up and running in minutes. At just over 2" tall, the Bose TV Speaker is a compact sound bar that can be placed just about anywhere. And small LED lights on the front of this small soundbar turn on and/or change color for visual confirmation when certain features are enabled. They also blink in acknowledgement of volume changes. The Bose TV Speaker has HDMI-CEC, which allows the TV and this small soundbar to communicate when connected with an HDMI cable. Meaning when you turn the TV on, the TV speaker will automatically turn on too. With this technology, you can even keep using your current TV remote to control the volume of this compact soundbar. However, the Bose TV Speaker comes with its own remote. And on it, you can enable “dialogue mode” on the TV speaker to elevate vocals even more or press the “bass” button for some extra depth. This compact soundbar also is a Bluetooth soundbar. Simply press the Bluetooth button on the remote to pair your device to this Bluetooth TV speaker and wirelessly stream your favorite music or podcasts. I like everything about the soundbar except the cheap remote with the hard to see symbols on it. Buy a replacement for $8 on Amazon. But the Speaker/Soundbar is terrific and I`m so glad I purchased it. I have excellent hearing but the sound was the only disappointing feature on our Samsung Smart TV. Especially with our A/C on I had to turn the volume up to 70 to hear the dialogue. The Soundbar improves the overall volume and "pulls out" and greatly enhances the dialogue. Works beautifully with my firestick and on on streaming. I highly recommend the Bose Speaker/Soundbar . I love mine !

Not Worth It!!

This Bose TV Speaker has pretty good sound quality for the tv because it does sound better than the tv speakers and better volume and the speech is a little clearer, but that's about as far as it goes.
I purchased this sound bar after looking at many, but mostly because I have been a Bose fan for many decades and in the days of them becoming to where they are now everything was exceptional until I received this product.
Bose dropped the ball on this one and seem to be living now off their name of top-quality products and service in the past and you know what starts to happen when you cut back on the quality, you start to lose your long time customers and no repurchase's from most new ones so business starts to decline, and we all know what has happened to big companies in the past. You charge high dollars so put back in the quality you use too.
For two days I have been trying to get a simple question answered from them and no response.
After purchasing this product, I have come to realize the only subwoofer I can add to this sound bar which has poor bass, is programed only for their brand, and their cheapest woofer starting at $500.00 plus, that is ridicules.
The Bluetooth is version is 4.2, that came out around 2011 or 12 so outdated, much cheaper brands even have the newer versions, heck the remote is not even Bluetooth! You have to make sure no other devices have Bluetooth on to connect to a single device you want par and listen two, a lot of others allow two at once so you can switch back and forth.
There is absolutely no way to turn on or control the sound bar if you lose the remote, battery goes bad or if the remote goes bad, but we all know that does not happen now does it?
For a 300-dollar soundbar especially from Bose I expected more, half was for the name and the other half for the actual worth of the unit and to get more bass I need to spend over $500.00 more when other top brand units come with a sound bar for under $300.00. I should be able to connect other subwoofer brands to this unit but from all my checking only a couple of people have gotten lucky, I have two and neither one will work with this unit when I connected them, so It's kind of like I gotcha from Bose if you want to upgrade your sound bar for $500.00 plus more to Bose.
Yes, looks like this one is going back to Bose.

Update: I decided to keep the speaker even as disappointed as I am with this so outdated speaker and mine was made in 2023 and then 28 days after using it just stopped working after being on for about a hour and a half, it only blinks the two lights white 3 times and turns the tv side light green and does this over and over again and will not turn off unless you unplug it, plug it back up and light off a couple of minutes then automatically turns back on and starts the same process over and over, So much for quality Bose I did not even get a months' worth of use and thank goodness I had two days left to return, never again for me Bose. Service is nonexistent never got a answer for a simple question I sent earlier so just imagine how it is with a real problem.

I was reluctant at first to buy this Bose soundbar after reading the reviews & I’m glad I took the plunge. The operating instructions are simple & the features of the soundbar are very intuitive once you start using them. For instance many customers complained about the instructions to enable the bass feature and were wondering why the indicator light on the soundbar changed from one to two on and blinked each time the bass button was pressed on the remote. Pressing the button cycles the level of bass on the soundbar from low to high and back. Simple. I installed the soundbar in my garage as I wanted a better sounding audio from my TV while working out and this product delivers. Spoken audio is significantly clearer and audible compared to the tv speakers. I also use it to stream music from my phone while working out through its blue tooth feature with no issues whatsoever. Overall, a five ⭐️ for me.

Love the connection options, from ARC HDMI, to optical and aux, and it sounds clean and has a great balance of crisp highs, and smooth bass. This is coming from a sound engineer.

Great value for the cost, and would absolutely buy again. Also, the remote works with another hand-me-down Bose soundbar we just acquired from helping someone move. That compatibility is pretty handy since we couldn’t find the remote for the other one.

I have had a Bose TV speaker since the dawn of time and, much to my sorrow, it gave up the ghost on December 21st. Amazon is my go-to for shopping (I live way off the beaten track on Vancouver Island) so I ordered a replacement--Bose again, great price, all the features, great reviews--and sat back to wait for delivery "by 29 December". Next day, 22 December, what to my wondering eyes should appear but my new speaker! I NEVER expect overnight deliveries, so this was a little Christmas miracle!

The speaker is a cinch to set up, and a great new (smaller) size. The quality of sound is both legendary and state of the art. It's perfect for my modest TV system. A very merry purchase.

Great sound bar. Simple to set up with HDMI cable and we love the dialogue feature. It works great when there is so much background sound you can’t hear the talking. Turn it on with simple push of the button and voilà you can hear the muffled talking. No regrets.
