Avoid single use plastic and enjoy filtered water on the go
We travel quite often and never know what the local water will taste like. I avoid using plastic especially single use plastic. We were traveling to Florida for a short trip and knew we didn’t want to buy water in gallon jugs or any kind of plastic. I purchased 2 of these Brita bottles and could not be more impressed. The initial cost may be more than you want to spend but considering how much you will save over a few trips is well worth it. The water coming out of the tap of our hotel stinks but not the water filtered through the Brita straw! It is not difficult to suck through the straw as others have stated, not sure why that happened to them. The straw is silicone and the cap is BPA free plastic. They are leakproof and heavy duty stainless steel. Overall very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend vs drinking microplastics and polluting the environment with single use plastic.

Having a love for water can be rather costly. I spent, in the last two months, almost 200$ buying bottled water because I live out of a hotel and let me tell you, hotel water is not meant to be ingested. I have another water bottle but... The downside with it is, is that I can add ice and it quickly melts in less than an hour and I work at a hotel, irony, and hate having to walk all the down the hall to refill that bottle. Trying to be more environmentally friendly, I do what I can to limit how much waste I contribute. And if you can't already tell, I've already decorated it with some Genshin stickers, which I also bought. I did buy the 20oz because I needed something that was easy for me to carry around in my backpack, so the only con, but not a big deal, is that you have to refill the bottle ALOT throughout the day if you're a big water drinker like I am. Spending 30$ on the bottle is worth the price and I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

I had an early plastic model that didn't get the suction right with air transfer and it frequently created a vacuum that caused it to leak. And I loved the straw feature with the built in filter so I put up with it or left the lid loose to increase air flow when using. (Also a leak hazard when knocked over.) This bottle does not have that issue at all and as an added bonus, the double insulation keeps my water colder longer and is much more durable than the plastic one.
It almost fits in my car cup holder so if that's important to you, be wary. I was hoping this one for 20 oz would fit, but it doesn't. It does fit in my husband's car however.
So far it's been easy to clean with a bottle brush. I wish the lid was more accessible for deep cleaning, but it will work for my purposes. The pop lid already keep the spout cleaner than the one I had that left the lid exposed.
I affectionately call this my emotional support water bottle. I may very well have to get another in a bigger size.
