I love the drinking spout. You don't have to tilt it back and it doesn't leak. It is easy to use and the bottle is easy to fill. The filter works great and is easy to replace. I like knowing I have delicious water ready anywhere I go. My first use of this bottle was to take to Disneyland. It was easy to refill and use all day, and kept the water cool. I will be taking this bottle everywhere I go! My daughter recommended to to me and I'm so glad she did! I had no idea that Brita had a filtered water bottle, and am excited to use my bottle!

There were mixed reviews on this insulated steel Brita water bottle so I purchased this one (steel insulated) AND the original plastic, BPA free, Brita water bottle.

I LOVE them both! The plastic one for using around home and elsewhere if it's not going to get hot and the steel one for the insulated qualities. The downside to the insulated one is you need to put ice in it or it takes quite a long while to get cold in the frig. BUT if you put ice in it and/or wait until it gets cold in the frig, it STAYS very cold.

The mouth piece/straw works very well and is NOT hard to suck on! You need to make sure filter has been prepped (mainly having it wet but follow directions the first time using), the bottle needs to be held vertically (not tipped up) (look at where the bottom of the straw is--if there is not water under it then it cannot come up the straw. Ensure that the cover is NOT ONE TOO TIGHT (think re liquid laundry soap in large dispensing jug---as the jug empties, the cover needs to be opened more for better flow), same too with the water bottle (it shouldn't leak). There was one review complaining that the cover hit her nose and showed a pic with it--the user did not have the cover opened as far as it goes; had it been opened fully, it would not be hitting a nose.

The Brita filter does really work thus the little extra time I took figuring out the ins/outs of the bottles, was really worth it to me. Added benefit, the bottles are easy to fit in the cup holders (sleek and slim).

Heading to Europe this summer and wanted a lightweight filtered water bottle I could keep on hand and refill throughout the day. I've been using it at home for a week now and absolutely love it. The water is tasteless and refreshing and the straw is very easy to sip through. I got the smaller one in the sea foam green color (beautiful), and it's perfect for my small, slightly arthritic hands. Men or women with larger hands could easily get the larger size. Overall, it' a great product, as most Brita products are. Hint: When buying refill filters, stick to Brita brand. I made mistake of ordering knock off filters for my Brita pitcher, and water tasted like chemicals. Stick to Brita!

I ordered this one and did the same test and it didn't leak at all. I even shook it to try to get it to leak and it did not. It was easy to assemble, is easy to clean, and is not at all difficult to drink through as some others said in their reviews. It held up really well and the water tasted great!

The product works well for a few months, then the silicone tip develops mold. I have contacted Amazon to get a replacement tip, but they cannot do it. Neither does Brita, I recommend you stay away from this item as it has a flaw in the design. I am now stuck with this item, and very unsatyisfied.
