These are the best rackmount screws I have used since H/P became Agilent became . . . Good rack screws need several features to be truly useful:
1. Well formed, clean threads of the proper size
2. Undercut entry of starting threads for easy install
3. Integral washer (plastic) avoids scratching the panels and damps vibration
There is a reason these cost more and they are worth it. Highly recommended as "Best in Class."

These fit Gator cases. I was struggling to get the OEM part which allow for thicker front panels. As long as the gear going in doesn’t have more than a few mm of plate thickness they are perfect. Thicker panels you may need the OEM part.

They are almost identical to look at once installed. They also come with nut inserts so are not restricted to Gator cases either.

Another 5mm of length and they would be perfect. Also a lot cheaper compared to OEM.
