About Us

The Gator Story

Gator Cases was founded in 2000 by father-daughter team Jerry Freed and Crystal Morris in Tampa, Florida. Initially, they launched with a small offering of molded plastic guitar cases at the Summer NAMM show in Nashville, Tennessee. From there, they expanded the product line to include case and bag solutions for pro audio, IT, audio visual, general utility, band instrument, and percussion. The line now consists of over 1000 different solutions that are made from vacuum-formed plastics, rotational-molded plastics, wood, sewn, and EVA materials.

Don't "Cheap out" Buy These!
If you're racking gear it's because you've got a sizable investment in it and want it protected and secure. Why run the risk of stripping a rail and having to drill a screw out and then retap it (which is a major pain the buttocks)? These fit all standard rails and present a finished look after installation. I use these in my stage racks, my home theater rack, and in my studio audio racks. Well worth the money. Buy the good stuff, don't cheap out!

BUT WHY?? Gator, why would you sell you lowest quantity package in an odd number.

Actually, I understand exactly why, and I'm sure you've made a few bucks off your customer's OCD.

Please sell this product in a quantity of 16, it would happen to work perfectly with a pair of Gator 4U Brackets.
If you don't want to make it that easy for people or you're feeling a little scummy; a quantity of 32 will work with two pair of Gator 4U Brackets.
For sales purposes if someone only has one pair of brackets, they'll have the additional screw and want to buy another set of brackets.

Not all rack screws are universal. These are 10/32. depending on where your rack is made the screws could be different. Ensure what size screws you need before purchase. Theres 2 washers on these screws the black and clear, the clear could be used to make your screws captive.
