Jolynn Lee

Jolynn Lee is a Christian writer, speaker, and passionate military community advocate. During her 30 years as a military spouse, Jolynn worked as an exceptional children’s teacher for a decade before returning to school to pursue a graduate degree in counseling from Liberty University. She also possesses graduate certificates from East Carolina University in Substance Abuse Counseling and Military & Trauma Counseling. She chose a trauma specialization to better support individuals with such experiences. Jolynn absolutely believes in the power of the personal story to inspire transformational change in others. One of her favorite symbols is the starfish, as the starfish represents a parable of making a difference against all odds. She believes when we share our story, the ripple effect is endless as through those brave stories we inspire change, one life at a time. Jolynn, along with her husband, was one of seven stories to be recently featured in a documentary released in theaters nationwide. Jolynn lives in Coastal NC where she enjoys boating and sandbar sitting with her husband, children, and grandchildren—all of whom are convinced she is “solar-powered” as sunshine always makes her smile!
