    Bought at 30% off retail price from Amazon warehouse. Advertised as "Used - Acceptable". It would have been nice to have more information from Amazon as to the extent of the damage. Front bottom corners bashed up a bit, minor damage to back bottom corners, and a dent in the middle of one bottom side edge, doesn't affect the performance at all, well worth the money. Crystal clear voices, I no longer have to use Closed Captioning. Powered with a 100 watt per channel Denon AVR 2308CI, speaker set to small and crossover set at 60Hz, absolutely no clipping issues.

    This is a big center channel. Needs some room for sure. Fairly short break in period for Klipsch. Very clear dialogue, surprising bass, and of course that horn is so crisp. Definitely buy this second generation version! Compared side by side there is quite a difference in clarity, crispness of the sound. I'm enjoying very much. Keep an eye on it because the price changes VERY often. Please don't think you are saving money and buy the first Gen model!! This 2nd Gen has several key upgrades to crossover network and cabinet.

    After upgrading to RP-8000F II front speakers, which sound absolutely wonderful, I was finding my old RP-450 center channel just didn't quite match their sound to my ear, so I decided to try upgrading to this RP-504 II center. This is not only a better sonic match to the new fronts, but I find dialog easier to understand with less work. There just more clarity and detail coming through.

    Let me add that during the first hour of use I was worried that this speaker might be too harsh, as the old speaker had a warmer (though muddier) tone, but by day two I stopped feeling that way and decided this is definitely a more refined and clear center channel and I enjoy what it delivers.

This speaker was beautiful!! It was mono, but no one actually noticed to be honest! The sound was just that good! I now have my rp6000fII's and cannot wait to set them up with an OnkyoRX50 !!

    Upgraded from an R-25C and this thing blows it away with a bigger presence, better lower frequencies and overall richer sound. I’m currently running old R-26F’s with it until I can afford some RP towers. Surprisingly the 504C II plays very well with the older cheaper reference line.

    A bit expensive but once you have it hooked up and settled in you could never go back.
