Screws, being what they are, tend to get lost at the most inconveniant times. And I have a very old wire rack that I'd picked up some 20 years ago or so. Needless to say, I've lost quite a number of the screws I need for the various rack mounted bits.

It took me a little research, but I found that these 10/32 types of screws are the more common for what I have. So, I took the leap and made the order.

And yes, they fit great and work to do exactly what they need to do - which is mounting shelves and wiring rails and such to the wire rack. I don't know why I waited so long to order these replacements.

Got me through in a pinch for an install I needed to get done quickly, but these screws are softer than butter. Just normally screwing them in left the black paint chewed off the screw head. Had a hole that was painted over on the rack I was using, it mashed the threads on the screws! And it seems like they aren't quite manufactured to the right specs—they will continued screwing even when tight. Maybe this is because of the soft metal they are made of.

If you're a pro, then go to B&H and buy the pro stuff.
