I used to love TODAY, but somewhere TODAY lost its edge and became a "What is trendy show." I relied on TODAY for an hour of news which could include entertainment news. Sometime, somewhere TODAY decided 20 minutes at the most is what we would typically see and hear with little or no analysis. Instead, we directed to the trending areas. Should I have to be told what is trending and why especially when the most important thing is often reported to us "what are the Kardashians doing today." TODAY lost its glow when it started to COPY their challengers. Get a grip. It is not the entertainment division, it is the news division.

The problem with "Today" is that it presents information and articles that were in the news and widely avaiiable yesterday without broadening the scope of that information. Also, there is a lot of duplication on the home page that makes it cluttered.

I don't watch the Today show so am not a fan liking the app. I just wanted an app to help me keep up with the news quickly and cleanly. This is it, few ads showing, clean page, easy to read. Cons, sometimes selected pictures don't render, and the placing of the next article icon is too convenient. I keep swiping to next article accidentally. Perhaps move it up a little higher?
