5.0 out of 5 stars Utterly Brilliant!

The only thing wrong with No Heroics is they only made one series. It is so good.

On a par with the IT Crowd, (Have you seen the one with the Musical "Gay") as good as that.

So laid back, such English Humour I doubt the Americans even thought it was a comedy - so thanks heavens no USA copy!

This is an odd show to review since I think it all comes down to your tolerance for this brand of bitter, world-weary, curse-laden British humor. If you like this type of humor, you will like these shows and I did watch all six but I don't know if I would buy another season.

having watched on itv2 on its initial run i realised that no heroics was just a really good bog standard sitcom but based in a fantasy society where super heroes exist.
Please dont think i am belitteling the show by saying its a bog standard sit-com many shows over busy themselves with clever plot twists & over complicating dialogue which if you have the right group of actors all pulling in the same direction you dont need.
Yes this is a forgotten gem of a series fingers have been crossed since 2008 that they will pull there fingers out & make a second series..possibly put it on itv's main channel but alas no this diamond in the rough is left to gather dust and to think another show i love (the IT crowd) is balanced good solid situation comedy (just like no heroics) & has just clocked up its 5th series.I think itv needed to have a bit more faith in this quality series!
A must buy for comedy fans!!

5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC COMEDY

One of the best comedies I've seen in a while. Fantastic characters and great comedy moments. Very british and very funny. Six episodes and every one a giggle. If you like the superhero format then I this would be a perfect dvd to kick back on a Friday night and have a laugh. 10/10

This has got to be one of the funniest sitcoms I have come across. It was excellent. It is an adult only series but one that is well worth the watch.
