Good, but does not allow same function as computer or phone app.
Good, handy to be able to show on TV for others in the room who may wish to participate in the viewing, but does not allow same function as computer or phone app.
This is a great alternative or I'd say, an addition to YouTube and other apps where you can watch many different creator uploaded content. This app allows for less censorship, which is always good when it comes to free speech. You may not always like or agree with what you watch, but at least everyone is free share their opinions openly. The app actually works pretty well. It does have ads on monetized videos just like popular videos have on YouTube. Additionally, there's no background configuration that chooses which videos will pop up for you to see based on similar videos you've watched in the past. This could be a positive or negative based on how you like to view content. Instead, your feed will come show videos in order from the creators you follow.
You can make money yourself on this site if you're a creator and you choose to upload your own content, and Rumble chooses to monetize any of your videos. It's nice that you don't have the same thresholds as YouTube for making money. Anyone has a chance to get one or all of their videos monetized. For example, you don't need 1,000 subscribers or 4,000 hours of watch time before making money. It's not as big of a platform currently, so if you already have a following, YouTube will bring in more money in the long run. This is still a great secondary option tho. Or for those who aren't full-time creators to try to earn a little bit of money from their content.
Overall, I enjoy having different apps to choose from to view or even upload content, and this is a great addition to what's already out there.
I don't know if this will be helpful but I recently created an account on rumble and wanted to see my subscriptions on TV through Firestick. I was having trouble logging in on the TV and just figured out how to get in. I know this app will improve but for now here is how to do it to improve your viewing experience. You will need : asmart phone, download the FIREtoTV app for your phone, find and be able to login to fire devices from your smart phone. First download the RUMBLE app from firestick by searching for it on your firestick, on your computer or phone create a RUMBLE account, open the RUMBLE app on firestick. Go to the bottom on the menu to the disclosure pages and open one up. On the upper right hand side you will see Login. To get there use your firestick remote to navigate up to search box. Now open your FIREtoTV app and connect to firestick. At the top of the empty box on your phone swipe twice to your right and then double tap the upper right hand corner to open the login. enter the username and password hit next. Use your fire stick remote to "toggle down one" then "toggle left one" hit the center circle. This will login you in. Sorry for it being so complicated but your only have to do it once. Like I said I do believe this app will inprove but it can't come soon enough considering YOU Tubes new "first admendment" restrictions straight from communist china.
I love watching videos on this platform. Hopefully they don’t change, and start censoring for no reason like YouTube did. There are a lot of ppl with great info, and as with Anything in Life, do research on what you see, hear, and say.
I joined and started reviewing videos on Rumble after youtube started exercising their powers to remove and censor videos on their platform that don't align with their political views, which is their right since they own the platform.
Rumble is reported to not have the above mentioned issue, so I started watching some of the content that had been disallowed on youtube as it moved to Rumble.
So far so good, but the interface is a little cludgy - particularly using Amazon Silk with a Firestick - I assume it will be polished up as time goes on and there are updates to the interface. I suppose some of my observations are from my familiarity with the youtube interface.
Being relatively new, there is limited content due to not many members and publishers to date, and hopefully that changes. I also notice that Rumble is starting to have ads in their videos - I assume we'll never escape advertising stuck into our news and entertainment, no matter how much we pay to view it...
If you like being censored by others who want you to think what they think, and do their bidding without question, then Rumble is probably not for you. It's a non-censored platform with very good videos. It hasn't caught up to the massive amounts on utube yet, but it's growing fast. Utube only lets you see what they want you to see Rumble on the other hand isn't monitoring free speech. You can also get it on Roku. Personally, I am supporting any and all programs that encourage freedom and support keeping America free. This is one of them.
Two friends of mine recommended I watch the "And we know" podcast on rumble. I didn't even know what rumble was at the time. Rumble is in direct competition youtube. There is one big difference between the two, however. Rumble is not so politically petulant, thin-skinned and politically temperamental that they take down your postings and/or close your account if they don't like your social or political philosophy...like youtube does. BTW, the podcast, "and we know" is excellent. Give it a try.
What a spectacular alternative to YouTube, or shall I call it Sensorship Tube. Thank God for Rumble! I get all my actual news and information from like-minded, freedom-loving patriots. I am certain that with time, this platform will not only be getting better, but will overtake all social media.
