GOOD BUDGET Speaker stands, but I will say...
A few things I like about these are #1 they came very NICELY PACKAGED #2 they LOOK rather NICE for the $40 price tag #3 they work with the VIZIO 5.1 setup that a purchased recently. HOWEVER, it says they are adjustable (which they are) but its very janky!TIGHTNING the stands seems like it doesn't do much which is kinda disappointing --after a tightening the poles a lot it still had an UNCOMFORTABLE LOOSNESS to it.DON'T BUY THIS IF: You have a crazy or chaotic household where these stands could be tested by force's most unpredictable subject: children... all jokes aside if these are set and forgotten they should be good just dont mess with the height.

Works Great for Vizio Elevate Rear Speakers or Speakers With Protruding Connectors

I was looking for rear speaker stands that would accommodate the protruding speaker connections for the rear speakers on a Vizio Elevate. Most stands do not have a gap to clear them and after searching for awhile , I found that this brand worked well with them and they do. I cant utilize the holes in the tubes to hide the speaker wire due to the molded connectors on the speakers but the included velcro straps worked great to run the wire down the stand and you don't notice it all and it still looks good. The stands themselves are easily put together and height adjustable. They are solid and the base heavy enough to keep upright and stay in position and look good in my opinion. If you have speakers that have a molded connection poking out of the rear , these stands will accommodate for that so your speakers still sit straight. For speakers with just the wires going in , you will be able to fish them through the tubes If need be. I'm happy with these and would recommend these stands for any rear speakers

Issue 1: threading the speaker wire from the base through 2 pieces of pole and out a side hole. This required disassembling the middle pole connection, dropping a weighted string from the top exit hole through both poles and out the bottom of the base, taping the speaker wire to the string, and then pulling the speaker wire up through each pole to the exit hole. At the exit hole a pair of needle nose pliers were needed to get the speaker wires out of the hole. I used a length of ceiling fan beaded line to weigh down the string.
Issue 2: The keyhole screw would not fit into the Samsung speaker, even with lubrication. After attempting twice to get the screw in it would only go in 1 click. Attempting to mount the speaker after one click resulted in the speaker falling to the floor two or three times and being dented (tile). I finally put a blanket down to hopefully prevent it from falling off and getting more damage (silver corner). After calling tech support they said they knew there was an issue with Samsung speakers and that a different screw would be needed. I searched and none were readily available. Not sure if the sound bar surround kit came with some, but those are misplaced if it did.
The FIX: I used a grinding wheel to flatten one side of the keyhole screw head and that allowed the screw to be seated into the 2nd click, and be securely mounted to the stand.
Hope this helps other Samsung surround sound owners. Apparently Samsung is well known for making their keyholes smaller than all other brands. Who knew?
