Ed's successes make us consider that we all have a multi-dimensionality and shouldn't limit ourselves to exploring just one or two. Dwight's story is truly inspiring. He's honest, without bragging and somehow he manages to keep it light all the way to the epilogue. I've shared it with my friends and look forward to sharing much more.
I would have given it five stars. However, the type-face makes the book appear a bit intimidating at first and doesn't quite capture the wonderful wit and delightful spirit of the authors voice.
Having grown up in the Civil Rights era, I felt the pain and angst he suffered by his words and description. Thankfully we've done better, and for the likes of Ed Dwight, now my hero, that's one reason why.
VERY well written.
