Easy Install and Great Product for the Price
The Ultimea Nova S50 sound quality is very impressive for such a small soundbar. It fits nice and snug underneath my 40" TV. I haven't needed to turn up the sound above 10 on the soundbar before it's too loud for a 12x10 bedroom, and it goes above 30. I'm not sure what number it maxes out at, but I'll probably never need to find out!The soundbar, subwoofer, cables, and remote were well packaged, and it was very easy to install. It comes with a nice user manual that has clear instructions and pictures depicting how to plug in the cables. You have three cables to choose from - Optical, Audio, and HDMI. If your TV has ARC or eARC then the simplest and most logical connection is HDMI. It also comes with wall mounts (which I didn't use) that look very easy to install.The remote is nice, but it doesn't come with batteries (needs two AAA). From what I can tell, there is no way to light up the buttons on the remote to see them in a dark room. That's a drawback, but it seems to be more of the norm nowadays for remote controls. You can adjust the bass from the remote, and there are three sound options - Movie, Game, Music - so finding the perfect balance for what you're watching or playing is relatively easy to do. The subwoofer is very compact and puts out a decent amount of bass, especially in Movie mode.All-in-all, I am very happy with the Nova S50. A much needed upgrade from the speakers in my TV.
