10 out of 10 stars. My home was an estate sale that needs to be completed gutted. Most of the summer I had my garage open taking supplies in and out of the house. Very easy for any rodents to get inside while I've been remodeling. I was already aware that I had a bunch of moles in my yard around my property. Once it started getting colder in October I started noticing droppings around my kitchen counters. Wasn't sure if it was from moles or roaches or something. Since it's an older house I wasn't surprised but I haven't remodeled my kitchen yet. I moved the stove away from the wall and saw a crack in the electrical cover where the mice must have got in from. Boarded it up with a piece of wood and still noticed the droppings. Turns out they were hiding inside of my electric stove since it looks like the top middle section has some insulation area for them. I didn't want to use any poison and risk dead mice being stuck inside of stove.I set these traps up around mid night. I followed the short video instructions and used Peanut butter. When I was laying down in my bed around 1 am, I could hear the trap "click" noise go off from the other side of the house. It wasn't loud or scary or anything but loud enough to notice it was the trap.Be sure to check for any droppings around the outside of the trap. In one of my photos I could tell there was an additional mouse due to the amount of droppings outside it. These traps went 3 for 3. The 2nd night I set them both up again and it caught the 3rd and final mouse. Haven't seen anymore droppings in weeks now.Going to keep these traps in case I have anymore intruders next year while I finish my home remodeling. The only cons of these are that they are hard to clean. You'll need an old toothbrush or something to get the old peanut butter out from the bait section. Also, I bought the orange tinted ones. I would buy the clear ones next time. It was kind of hard to see the mouse inside even only a few feet away. If you have this in a tight dark area you might miss that it actually caught a mouse.Really a perfect product. Some people might be complaining that it's cheap plastic. If it's not cheap plastic it will cost more money.

So I bought these traps in November 2020 today, April 28 2021 I finally caught the little one. The timing had nothing to do with the trap. The trap works great, easy to clean, humane and I didn’t have to worry about my dogs getting stuck in the sticky tape again. The eternity of time was due to the mouse. You see, this isn’t just any ordinary mouse (in my opinion.) clearly this mouse is highly educated most likely a Harvard or Yale graduate. In the 9 months this little one has been living with me (and it’s only contribution was droppings and scaring the ever living hell out of me in the early morning hours) it has managed to avoid all other sorts of mouse catching devices. EVERY. SINGLE.ONE. So, came across the Captsure traps and thought my prayers had been answered. My traps get delivered, take them out of the box and read direction. Well, this should be super easy! I decide to put a peanut butter cookie in the food section of the trap. I mean, “who doesn’t like a peanut butter cookie?” Clearly my mouse. Next we try a Girl Scout Samoa cookie. Can’t go wrong! Clearly I was wrong. Next we move to plain old peanut butter and not the chemical 💩 storm peanut butter but the all natural kind. I’ve managed to not poison the little one thus far why should I start now. Although educated my mouse does not have good taste in food because the peanut butter was an ultimate fail. A week ago I take the trap out of the pantry, clean out the peanut butter, clean the trap. Once again clean the pantry and the shelving of little turds. I’m looking for something to put in the trap, something special, something this little f*#ker won’t pass up. Ah ha, found it! Add food to trap, place trap on floor and put the broom on the side of the trap to create a cozy environment. This morning, my dog is going bat 💩crazy. In the pantry playing with the mouse trap. All i kept thinking was, “someone should have fun with it!” Tell her to get out and she won’t. Then the other dog joins in on the fun and I now have 150 pounds of dog in the pantry going ape 💩. I get up to see what the deal is. At last I caught the little turd. Turns out my mouse does have good taste and clearly better then mine because it took using marcona almonds at $25 per pound to seal the deal. I’m ecstatic and happy that I can close this chapter in my life except now my kids want to keep it as a pet 🤦‍♀️

I purchased the CaptSure 2019 Upgraded Humane Smart Mouse Trap on Saturday (2/23/19) and received on Sunday (2/24/19). I purchase 2 of these allowing me to have 4 traps in all. Placed the 4 traps Sunday evening and checked them Monday morning. One of the traps caught a little mouse that has been in our pantry for a few weeks. Not sure how it got into the house but we had some awful cold weather around the time in came in. We were experiencing sub zero temps in Wisconsin with wind chills -55F.
Instructions were easy to follow and traps extremely east to set. I even received a follow up email from David Hertz, Owner of the company that sells this product. David's email included additional information in the form of an ebook that details proper use and information about the habits of mice.
We had previously purchased poison and stick traps but I was reluctant to use. I did not want to feel bad about killing this poor thing for trying to survive the cold winter.
I took the trap to a park about 2.5 miles away and easily opened the bait door near a huge pile of wood chips. Bait door was easy to open and did not have to place my hands near the mouse. I tipped the container down after opening and the little mouse stepped onto the ground and walked away.
The trap was easy to clean once I got it back home. I cannot express enough how happy I am with the CaptSure 2019 Upgraded Humane Smart Mouse Trap. Made my wife very happy too.
I'm pretty sure we only had the one mouse in the house but will leave the other three traps in place for a couple of days just to see. Good luck to you catching the mouse and I know you will not be disappointed. Just follow the instructions. Highly recommend.

This is the most genius little trap to get these little furry creatures 🐁 out of your house safely. I'am one that just can not kill anything especially not field mice
I get in my area at the condo I live at so when I saw this I fell in love with the idea of a catch and release. OK- so you get 2 of them & they are also reusable but you just have to clean them out after each catch because they do sometimes go to the bathroom in them & it does get dirty as shown. I have included 2 separate photos -of - 2separate rescues. They are both safe and sound as you can see totally unharmed. I do want to mention,

I don't recommend putting food inside of the trap,
like where you see the mouse sitting inside the second photo, some people throw food further down the ramp, (don't), just put in where it tells you in the instructions- reason being, because the littler size guys are sometimes able to get in and out without seting off the trap because they are lighter weight,

& they make it out without getting trapped in & they get a free meal. 😋. I have left big pieces of cheese in on a few occasions to test this and few times cheese was gone & no mouse so sometimes you are gonna get mice that can get away depends on size. You can read up on putting coins in to help that issue. You can read that in the questions portion, someone talks about that and there is answers to it. So leave the bait in the trap door as recommend, they will go in and they'll keep playing at it to try to get at the bait, and you have a better chance at the door shutting. The bigger ones automatically it shuts, as the weight will set it off. The seller and the company are amazing!!! The best company and sellers I have ever bought from in my life. When you get the product home you get some instructions but you get a email from them with a PDF download file of complete instructions, do's, dont's, they even give you all different information on different types of mice, with pictures of what they look like, so you know what type of mice you have in your home, and give you information on the different types of mice, & what areas these different mice will be in. I 1st messaged the sellers at least 20 times with questions, they got back to me every time. They are so sweet & helpful. I highly recommend this product, if you do everything they say in the instructions and be patient-as you might not catch them as fast as some do or have to find out where they are in your house so move them around to different spots unless you know where they are coming from 100%. My friends now call me the mouse whisperer lol. I'm thankful for this type product where they don't die. Now you see the little faces and they are scared, but when you take them to where you are setting them free, you feel so happy for them when you see them run out free. Oh also I put some small pieces of cheese through the holes on top and push them through with a fork ( I use same fork for this each time & wash it & save it or use plastic forks) after each capture so they can have a snack before I take them & let them free, I feel bad they smell the food but cant get to it during there capture so I feed the furry creature before setting it free. Some are too scared to eat after they see you and they are trapped but I've gone to get dressed - get my keys- & leave it alone & they sometimes do eat. I want to thank this seller, and this company for everything. 5* all the way.
P.s. I want to be totally honest with you about this product after so many captures if you notice you're not catching anything they do stop working but remember it's a very reasonably priced product and you get two in one so just buy more if needed.

I have caught a lot of mice with these traps. I hate killing them so I take them and release them far from our cabin. It's a little hard to clean the peanut butter off thoroughly and the mouse poop as well but they are a good alternative to the kill traps. Of course you have to be there to empty them though. Good news is that we seem to have gotten rid of the mice!

I tried another humane trap from Rentokil. It was basic at best, didn't have any air-holes for the creature and the mouse escaped! I've packed up those for storage.

The mouse was in my attic which is hard to reach so I needed something I didn't have to check every couple of hours. The instructions were perfectly fine, it was easy to use and the trapped animal got another few weeks of its life after I released it to the woods a few miles from my house.
The SNAP & break the back traps were not an option for me- I have young children who are avid animal friends.

I used this online store as I couldn't find them locally.

I didn’t think this would work but thought I’d at least try! And bang! Little dude was sitting in their next morning and we released him into the neighbours house haha joking. We just took him to a field but honestly was so easy! Thanks

My two cats aren’t doing their job, so I purchased the two-pack CaptSure Original Humane Mouse Traps on September 7, 2022. I was previously using black plastic tip traps. They were dark and claustrophobic for the poor mice. I want to catch and release, not cause them more stress.
These traps work! They seem less stressed in these roomy traps. There are more breathing holes. The mouse can see through the semi-transparent plastic.
I love how the instruction booklet suggested taking them three miles to woods with a derelict building for shelter. I take them to a forest a few minutes walk away. There are no derelict buildings. They may follow me home. I’m pretty sure that I recognize one of them. I may have to follow instructions and take them away by car.
My only complaint is that the traps are a bit difficult to clean, but I just soak them for a bit in warm water. These are the best humane traps I’ve had so far.
