I bought 2 about two years ago. One is still going strong. The other started cracking and breaking around the screws. Maybe I tightened it too hard. But just got a replacement. Worth the comfort and ease of knowing where my dogs are.

These are strong and appear really well made. Even the screws are the nice coated type that do not back out on their own.
Customization: We use ours to hold a device that opens our automatic pet door. It's not an air tag, but it's the same size. It perfectly fits in this holder and is much better than what comes with the pet door. We are not worried about having to locate our dog, but this holder has other uses, too.
I added reflective tape that I hand-cut in little round circles—one for the front and one for the back. I'm not expecting the holder to come off the way it's built, but having had to find others that have come off in thick grass, I've learned this is helpful. Worst case (if ever), we can use a flashlight in the evening to locate this but I don't think that will happen unless our dog's collar breaks or comes off.

This was an overall decent product for the price, but still disappointing in the end. I found it to be very bulky- much more so than the pictures make it look like, even on my 90lbs hounds collar. It also broke after I'd had it on his collar for only ~5 months and he is a very mellow dog that doesn't engage in "rough play", so I'm still confused as to how it happened. The screws broke through the holes so there is no way to resecure it or fix it. I'm just glad I found the airtag in his bed and it didn't fall apart outside of the house.

I bought this in June so it’s been 6 months of use. Pros are that it’s very secure and will definitely keep the AirTag attached to the collar. I chose the install option of screwing through the collar so it was flush with the band. This was great for security and my dog’s comfort but it definitely will shred the collar a bit as you poke the screws through. Unfortunately the back panel seems to have broken off so a con for that but also a pro that it’s still very much secured in place. I’m going to try a different brand that takes less work to secure to her collar, mostly just because we like to get them dirty and swap out for special occasions.
