Ok, I love the ingredients and I have the mousse by this brand. That application seemed easier but I wanted to try the lotion because the mousse tanners cling to dry areas and look funky (think wrists and feet!). So this seemingly would solve this problem for me.The color deposit was STRONG! I’m a pale freckled redhead and I look TAN YALL! But if you miss a spot or one spot gets too much attention it’s super obvious. I was really careful with application so not sure how it happen.So it’s Saturday morning, I tanned Thursday evening and slept overnight in it, washed it off Friday morning and could smell the tan kinda “coming out” all day Friday. Took a shower last night and can still smell the tanner smell (not the lotion smell) this morning.So the catch: GREAT color but kinda like lingering tanner smell and inconsistent application using the mitt.*attached an underarm photo but cropped out my armpit lol you can see how the inside and elbow is spotty? as well as how my feet are funky and I already used a harsh soap to get most of it off.

I ordered this because the other self tanner I usually get is hard to find. This provides good color. It’s not orange and doesn’t smell bad. It goes on as a white somewhat thick lotion. . Be sure to massage it in really well into your skin, wiping in circular and straight motions until all the white is gone. No streaks if you do this. Been using almost daily all summer. Color Does wipe off onto towel after barhing. All self tanners I have used do this. Overall nice lasting color and easy to apply.

Not really streaky, which they claim to be streak free so I would agree with that. It smells like a fake tan after a few hours, but that doesn’t bother me it makes me feel like it’s working lol! Quick drying, love the color, I did the fair to medium. It goes on a little dry, and white, but the color does come out nicely.

Ok, I love the ingredients and I have the mousse by this brand. That application seemed easier but I wanted to try the lotion because the mousse tanners cling to dry areas and look funky (think wrists and feet!). So this seemingly would solve this problem for me.
The color deposit was STRONG! I’m a pale freckled redhead and I look TAN YALL! But if you miss a spot or one spot gets too much attention it’s super obvious. I was really careful with application so not sure how it happen.
So it’s Saturday morning, I tanned Thursday evening and slept overnight in it, washed it off Friday morning and could smell the tan kinda “coming out” all day Friday. Took a shower last night and can still smell the tanner smell (not the lotion smell) this morning.
So the catch: GREAT color but kinda like lingering tanner smell and inconsistent application using the mitt.
*attached an underarm photo but cropped out my armpit lol you can see how the inside and elbow is spotty? as well as how my feet are funky and I already used a harsh soap to get most of it off.

I’ve tried so many self tanning products and this is the only one that does not fade weird and has the most natural color. I’ve tried the moose version of this as well and while it works good too I noticed it can fade a bit faster than the lotion. There is a smell the hours it developed but it’s not a bad smell. So glad I found this company.

First of all, I purchased this because of the clean ingredients. Then when it arrived, I was super impressed with the color. No need to apply but about twice a week. The color looks natural. I purchased the light to medium version, and it is plenty dark enough. I am not fair skinned, but tan easily if I still did that. My husband purchased the darker one since he is part Filipino and darker skinned than I am. He found it way too dark and now uses the light to medium version. The smell is nice, too!

I get lots of compliments on my "tan" and it is all this lotion. It doesn't streak or look orange. It will stain your hands, so wash them thoroughly. A little goes a long way so it lasts for months and I only use it every other day. So impressive.

I have used a different tanning mousse, but wanted to try something cleaner. I ordered the lotion & was pretty impressed with the color. I don’t love the “sticky” feeling of the lotion, but it works great. I ended up getting the mousse in this brand & was disappointed in the lack of color it gave me. I went back to using the lotion only to realize that I am very allergic to something in the lotion. I didn’t realize it was related the first application. I used it for the second time & ended up with the same red, itchy rash as the first one. It didn’t show up the day of, but the next day when I woke up. I do have very sensitive skin, but find it comical that the “clean” version is the one that I am allergic to. I’m not sure if I will try out the mousse again or just move on. I’m super sad because I did like the color it gave me, but it isn’t worth the 2-3 days of redness & itching on my arms & chest.

I like this product a lot! I am quite fair so I ordered the light-medium. It's a nice colour and not orange on me! I did have a little streaking in some small spots so I'll try to be more mindful on my next application.

I have vitiligo, and in the summer time it's more noticeable as some skin tans and the light parts don't and I find this evens my skin nicely. It also has a nice smell compared to other tanners I've tried.

I'd recommend this for sure! I have used it a few times now.

I have used this for years and it is by far the best self tanner that I have used. You have to rub it in well and make sure you wash your hands but the colour is natural and does not rub off on my sheets. I use it to start my summer tan and occasionally throughout spring and fall. I love that it is natural ingredients as well!

So I just finished my first tube of this stuff. Definitely the best I’ve used in a long time.

The good:
- Solid colour
- Long as applied properly, very little streaking. Back of hands are pretty difficult though. Doesn’t matter how little I put, I always get some buildup.

The bad:
- Although colour is good, it doesn’t last long. I’d say a max of two days before it’s more or less noticeably faded. Starts to fade in as little as one shower.
- You have to use a lot. As I’ve seen in other reviews, you do need a lot of the stuff per application.
- Price. The price is pretty steep. Looking at my orders, it took me three weeks to go through this and I wasn’t even using it on my legs. You can go through really quick. At $45 per order, this could easily cost you $600+ a year.

I could see myself ordering again, but probably not on a regular basis due to price/speed you go through it.

Edit: I was contacted by their customer support and given a refund. Great customer service. I bumped up my review from 3 to 4 stars. They did not ask me to do this, I just appreciate the generous refund!

I have tried many self tanner from Canada, Us and Europe, this one is the very best by far. The tan looks amazing and there is no streaking or patches. The darker areas like ankles and elbows look the same as the overall tan. It takes some time to spread but it is worth the time. I take about a pea size amount and start with lower arm and make sure all the white has soaked in and do the same everywhere else on my body. Pro tip, I do exfoliate first and use a moisturizer on ankles and elbows, let in soak in for few minutes and then apply the tanner. You only have to wait 15 minutes before getting dressed, a bonus. As it developed during the day or overnight (also doesn't stain clothes or sheets) it does have that self tanner smell but once you take a shower it's gone
