This was a GAME CHANGER for us! We needed to take our older dog on vacation and this playpen made that possible. We started getting her accustomed to it the week prior to leaving by having her bedding in there so she could sleep comfortably through the night. (She is 10 lbs)Because of its flexibility, we were able to put it in the back of our Durango for the trip and smoosh the sides in a bit to accommodate luggage. The double entrances were also used and appreciated as we could access her from the backseat or rear door. Our dog was happy to be in a familiar space and we had peace of mind.Upon arrival at our destination, she was wandering around the house aimlessly looking a little confused. We put her in the pen with her bedding and it only took her a minute to settle in and go to sleep.I highly recommend this product! It is amazing!

I wish there were more stars to give Elite Field & this product. I have a 22# Cairn Terrier & 21# Pomeranian. They are active & love to romp & play. I wasn't sure there would be enough room or something strong enough. Peekie, Foxie & I are campers. I needed something to use when we are camping on the lake and beach. They love the water, but between swims they need a place to rest under the umbrella & while I enjoy myself without them being tethered to a leash attached to an umbrella pole. Actually, the uses are limitless. For the price, it is excellent quality. Very thick canvas material and netting. It has a zippered very durable, waterproof, wipe-clean floor. Much superior & safer than the ones with Velcro. The top is also zippered & very durable. There are 4 lawn pins for securing this playpen to the ground thus preventing tip-overs even if they jump up on the sides. The doors are zippered and when open, roll up and attach to Velcro. There are storage pockets & a place to attach a water bottle. I got one at Wal-Mart for $6.00. I put it in the freezer about 1/3 full of water & freeze it. When ready to use the playpen, I finish filling it with cold water; it stays cold for them. I have also placed their food & water bowls inside but Peekie loves water and will stand in their water bowl & try to sit in it making a mess. The set-up and fold-up is just minutes & so simple. NOTE: When folding up, make sure the zippered top & bottom are off and the zippered area on the top & bottom around the playpen are pulled out. The folded playpen fits into the nice zippered case & is very lightweight & easy to store in my RV & home. This playpen is worth every penny. I was so surprised at the quality, low price & free shipping. I highly recommend this product & am considering purchasing 2 more as gifts for my daughter's & granddaughter's pets as we all camp together. 42x42x24" Our cat had surgery for bladder stones and was prescribed limited activity for 2 weeks. The vet suggested a fabric cat playpen with zippers, so I bought this for him. It is perfect in every way!

The size is just right to fit a cat bed, small litter box, and flat water dish, and still leaves room for him to move around. Having 2 doors is very convenient, allowing easy access. Having a zipper on top makes it very easy to reach inside to clean the litter box.

I also bought a 2-pack of reusable, washable pee pads, and placed one into the bottom of the playpen, then lined it with disposable pee pads. That makes it easy to keep the pen clean.

When I want to give him some time to roam around the house, I roll up the door and attach it to the pen with the velcro patches. He roams in and out at will. When he's sleeping, I zip up both doors and cover the whole thing with a blanket to give him some privacy. He seems to love it.

It is sturdy and well made. It easily folds up like an accordion; an elastic band slips over it, then you can slip it into the provided pouch.

So this product makes me laugh every time I see the listing, but not because of the product itself. More because of the chaos that ensued after.

I bought this as a way to keep our dog contained while my wife and I were at work. When it came in, I put it together (went together easily and beautifully, I might add. Nice quality) and set it in place, then filled it with stuff our dog likes. As far as spaciousness, it's roomy. I got in the thing myself and could lay down comfortably, and our dog is a staffy mix, so certainly not my size. I'm 6'0" tall. We then proceeded to give it a trial run and left our dog inside while we went out for the evening.

When we returned, the entire unit, our dog, and EVERYTHING inside, had moved across the house. Not sure why, but our dog had freaked out, somehow got the playpen onto its side, and hamster wheel-style rolled the whole thing around the house. You'll notice I gave the product a 5-star rating on the "maneuverability" because she drove this thing like a stolen race car around our living room and down a long hallway. Lamps were smashed, cords pulled, furniture knocked around, you name it. Utter chaos. In the middle of us walking in and seeing the carnage, there was our little dog, looking up at us and begging to be let out of her rolling prison, which had become hopelessly jammed into the hallway leading to our garage. Needless to say, we did not attempt to use the playpen again, and promptly returned it.

NOW, I will say that I don't feel the situation was caused by the playpen itself. As I said, the construction was nice and roomy, the outer pockets were nice, so don't take this as a review against the quality. Just...make sure you weight the thing down if you have a dog with some weight to throw around. Our dog is 40 pounds soaking wet, but she's 100% muscle. We thought it was weighted down enough and we were obviously wrong. Maybe a heavier material for the bottom would be a good idea, I dunno. Needless to say, it was an adventure, and it led me to purchase a nanny cam in case similar shenanigans go down again.

I purchased the small size in this for my puppy (havanese). I love that it has 2 doors (front and back) to go in and out of, is well ventilated and has a zippered floor. It also unfolds and folds up nicely for portability. The pen fits his crate as well as water and a few toys. Even when fully grown he will be able to use it, if needed. Thank you EliteField. This is a well constructed product at a reasonable price

we purchased the previous version of these years ago and have been trying to find them online ever since. The re-released version has several usability and durability improvements in the design (the zipped bottom is the best). We use them as internal crates for our two small-sized dogs and they're great for feeding, sleeping and time-out / calm down time
