I will never buy another Duracell battery again! I am so tired of Duracell AAs and AAAs leaking in my devices, years before their expiration date, even when other cells in series are still charged. Duracell batteries have destroyed 3 of my Skyscan clocks, damaged an expensive calculator, and leaked in one of my smoke alarms, two flashlights, and a TV remote. I went through the house and replaced everything in the house with Energizers, including my wireless mice and keyboards.
Energizer advertises that their batteries won't leak before their expiration date, and I can't recall one ever leaking. Duracell warrantees their batteries by saying that they'll reimburse you for damage to your devices, but I read a post about someone who paid to mail them his damaged device, and then Duracell asked for the original receipts and basically found an excuse not to have to reimburse him for what his device was worth.
Why are Duracell AAs and AAAs so prone to leaking? It may be because I read that Warren Buffet bought the company and moved production from the USA to overseas. At any rate, it seems that most of the batteries I see in Sam's Club are Duracells--I had to buy these Energizers online.

After doing some of my own tests and evaluations, I've settled on Energizer as my brand of choice, including the Lithiums (seen in another review) for my premises cameras for longer life. These, however, are the best price point if you go through a lot of batteries. They last the longest for my use, buying them in bulk saves money and Amazon here makes it so easy.

I'll be repurchasing here and via this package as my standard as needed.

Good price on the batteries but very disappointed in the package I received. The package type I ordered was one cardboard box containing 48 batteries. I liked that because it would be a better way to store and remove a battery when needed. However, I received 6-8 count bubble packs, which just make storage and accessing them more difficult with the limited space I have to store items.

I've had these for a while but just recently actually needed to use them. They worked really well but they have a lot of excess and unnecessary packaging. At least it is all cardboard/paper so it can be recycled. I expected to open the box and see batteries all lined up in a row but what I saw was two boxes. So then I expected to open one of the smaller boxes and see all the batteries lined up in that box but what I pulled out was yet another box. This one housed 4 batteries. I didn't pull everything out but I assume that they are all in 4 packs. So that was my only complaint. Too much packaging.

Every household needs batteries. Nothing is more annoying than to buy batteries and then they run out of juice in a few days. A lot of the knock off brands do this. Energizer is a little pricer but you are getting good value for your purchase. The batteries do last a while. I use them in our remotes for our TVs and all devices that make our TVs smart TVs. I also use them in our kids toys. They are constantly holding down the buttons and they still last a long time. I would rather spend the couple extra dollars and get the name brand battery than to spend less and have to buy double or triple the amount of packages. Bigger upfront cost, less later. You're definitely getting a great value.

The packaging itself doesn't bother me on how it looks and whether it stores well or not because I transfer all my batteries to a fireproof battery case, but I do like that its not hard to open. Some of the battery packages are so difficult that you have to get a scissor and put effort to get it open. Overall, love the quality of these batteries!

Great value. I always stock up on batteries just before the halloween and Christmas season to power up my battery powered lighting and decors. I have to say, these do lasts. I have several fairy lights and indoor Christmas lights and lanterns, all battery powered. My lights were all set to automatically turn on every night for 6 hours. It's been nearly 5 weeks and the batteries are still good.

As one reviewer had mentioned, it is indeed overpackaged. I think just the big box and the small boxes of 4 are sufficient enough. No need for the 2 medium boxes housing 6 small boxes each.
