I purchased the TopFund singing bowls set and added the 3 year protection plan. I filed a claim on a broken bowl. I spoke to three different people before the fourth person said the singing bowls are covered in the protection plan. Amazon needs to remove this protection plan as an option. To spend $400 on such a delicate product and not have a protection plan is ridiculous, especially when the protection plan is offered.
I was very satisfied with the claim protection for the first year. I had to submit 2 claims, the old process was seamless. I would file the claim with the website, receive a claim number, and a form to fill out and mail back the defective part. Both times, I received new parts and the whole process took about 1 week. Last week, another part broke on the drum set. Now, I had to submit a form online and re-submit my receipt , even though I had already uploaded it for the other claims. It has been a week and I have not yet heard back as to whether my claim has been accepted. Before, I would have already received the new part. I am NOT liking this new claim process at all.
