Kinda on the same boat as everybody else, the overall kit looks great and the quality looks great for the price, but the knife came in broken and the flint snapped off when I tried scratching it like three times. But overall looks great.

Being new to all this precaution, I think all items in the kit are a good collection. It worked also to force me to learn what every item is used for. I would recommend you buy more of the ones more commonly needed when you learn which ones they are. Lots of videos to learn without actually opening those sealed packages
I am planning to add a thermometer, more alcohol, ginger candys, halls, Advil, stuff like that not so critical but helpful and portable. Go for it !!!!

My husband was a sheriff & purchased this for his patrol car for when needed on emergencies. He died in the line of duty recently after driving his car into a river. Imagine my surprise when his brothers in blue returned his vest & belongings to my home for me and this kit was also with his stuff. His car was completely submerged for 12-20 hours. This kit looks like it hasn’t even been touched. I was shocked. No rust, everything in tact. I couldn’t believe it. It now sits with my husbands other gear until I find it in my heart to start putting away his stuff. I will absolutely recommend this kit for anyone who thinks they may need it in an emergency. I may even purchase a couple more for my 2 sons who camp and hike and fish. Don’t think twice. Buy this kit!

This is a great basic trauma kit, I ordered two for my wife and I to have in our cars’ survival supplies. (We live out west where there are not a lot of people and in the winter you could be stuck a while if there were an accident or breakdown). The supplies seem to be high quality and the Israeli bandage is a touch not typically seen in basic kits like this. The actual container itself is incredibly high quality, extremely sturdy and well made. The only thing that sucks is the knife that comes with it, cheap gas station quality but if you are relying on your first aid kit for a primary knife then you are In trouble anyway. Would recommend

Bought the first kit for a family member who clears his own land by chainsaw and axe. The possibility of an incurring a fatal bleed wound is not the thing people think about when setting off into the woods, brush, desert, etc. Having this kit on hand just might provide you the control, and time you need to get to professional medical help. It would be sad situation to take a chainsaw kickback to the leg, and nick an artery which a standard first aid kit is not going to help you. The tourniquet coupled with the Israeli bandage might just give you that time you are going to need to get out of your surroundings and the find help you need to survive.
