Because when I wanted to cancel my MGM+ 7 day trial subscription and had to call who knows where the cancelled this subscription which now I am having such a hard time renewing, If Amazon would be more customer friendly and transparent in its dealings and weavings than having to go to youtube just to learn how to navigate Amazon. But hey sometimes its practical. Go figure...
I received an email from Amazon with the header < Amazon.com Subscription Ending Soon (Activate to Renew) > In the body of the email it says <Your subscription to AppleCare+ for iPad (9th generation) - Renews Monthly Until Cancelled renews on Oct 5, 2023 and has not been activated yet. This is a friendly reminder to activate your subscription through Your Memberships & Subscriptions. If you have not activated your subscription by Oct 5, 2023, then your subscription will terminate and will not renew. > There is nothing in Memberships and Subscriptions about "activate". I chased down all previous emails from Amazon regarding this item. Again, nothing about "activate". At the bottom of the email was <If you need further assistance, please contact Digital Software Customer Service>, which I did. The representative said that activating had to be done though Apple. I called Apple, their representative said that no activation was necessary, and everything was fine with my iPad's AppleCare+ account. All this wasted 45 minutes of my time. I plan to file a complaint with Amazon. I hope this helps someone else.
Purchased the Apple warranty with the Ipad. Grand Daughter dropped her ipad on Christmas screen cracked. Contacted Apple Care right off had to pay $52.00. I was told a box would be sent so I can ship the Iap for repair. I was also told if it cost more to repair I would be contacted to pay more. I told the customer service rep I have the warranty. Oh well still have to pay. This is a joke I purchased the warranty for my grand daughter in case something like this happens. Well let me see how this goes may have to contact consumer affairs and the Better Business Bureau. Please watch when you purchase this warranty. May have to put more money out to purchase a Samsung Ipad. Very Disappointed!!!
Was purchased as bundle amazon didn't register serial number with apple. The apple care was never put on I Pad. Second email with never sent. If you have this coverage through amazon call Applecare before you need it just in case.
