This Yamaha ATS-1090 TV Soundbar is great stand alone Alexa speaker!
Best Stereo Alexa Speaker I've found! It is also a great TV Soundbar but I bought it to replace my Echo Show 15's poor sound quality. Been looking for a great sounding stereo Alexa speaker system for awhile when I came across this in Costco. It sounded great for a small, cheap, name brand TV Soundbar. Primarily designed to be a TV Soundbar, it also has Alexa built in. Found this refurbished ATS-1090 on Amazon for $99 and decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did. Downloaded the Yamaha APP, logged into my home WiFi and presto! Fantastic stereo sound for our bathroom. Comes with a little remote to adjust volume, bass, and preset EQ settings. You may also adjust these and other settings within the phone APP. I like the Stereo sound setting the best. You can't pause or skip tracks with the remote but you can with Alexa verbal commands. I wall mounted the ATS-1090 above the bathroom doorway as my whole sink vanity wall is mirror. Love it. Just ordered a second Soundbar to put on the wall-mounted TV in the guest room. Tried it there and what a difference! The tiny TV speakers sound puny and this Yamaha Soundbar brings the TV sound to life. I don't think you can find a better Alexa speaker or TV Soundbar for under $100. It also has BlueTooth to play sound from any BlueTooth transmitter. Buy it while you can.
