Have this hooked up via HDMI for watching movies in a fairly small room (15’x25’). Instructions are basic but fine, and thr set does include brackets for hanging the surround speakers if you wish. I simply set mine on a shelf. Very pleased that the subwoofer is wireless, and I’ve never had any issue with it not connecting or losing signal in the weeks I’ve had it.

What I really like is that it does a great job of emphasizing dialogue. My parents watched a movie with me and commented on how well they could understand The Fall Guy, and both of them are in their 80s with hearing aids, so that’s true praise. I like that the sound bar volume operates using the TV remote, too.

Sound quality is very decent. You will not confuse this for a Sonos or other high dollar surround system, but the improvement over standard TV speakers is still enormous, and at 1/3 the price of just a Sonos sound bar, it’s a great deal.

All that said, there are some factors I don’t particularly like. The remote is not blatantly obvious how to use, and it does not provide much information for the various settings when you adjust them. It’s entirely a guess whether “+” means you are increasing the setting or if there are only two settings and you’ve selected the higher one. For sure you can tell when you select different sound type settings - essentially preset graphic equalizers - but modifying things beyond that is poorly defined. The other issue with the remote is that it’s not lit, so guessing what button is what in a dark room is difficult. Not a deal breaker, just could be better.
Finally, I’m not sure who all these reviewers are who claimed it has “booming” bass but it does NOT. Who can blame it? It’s working with a tiny 4.5” speaker! But for the size it does do a good job of producing SOME bass, which is more than almost any soundbar can claim. It will not shake your walls. It will not make you feel the dinosaur’s footsteps or jump when a bomb hits, but it’s a good deal better than no subwoofer, and again it’s really good for the price point.

So do like it? Definitely.
Would I buy it again? Definitely.
Would I recommend it? Yes, IF you are looking for big improvement over the TV speakers but are not concerned about making the room resonate, or if your budget simply doesn’t allow for a high dollar system. However, if deep and strong bass is truly key for you, you’re going to have to shell out more money for a bigger sub.
