These are very comparable to microphone systems costing three and four times as much... the receiver and mics look nice and work well. Update - still love the mics but after a few months had two stop transmitting audio. (I run karaoke several nights a week so being a mic down is an issue) I invested in the 4 year extended warranty... they sent me a label code via text/email to send through UPS the mics (have to box them myself) expected repaired within 3 days and shipped back to me within 10 days. Because I am using the mics so frequently, I've bought a 2nd set and getting another 4 year warranty. These PTU 5000 4 mic units have same set frequencies, so I can just use 2 of the new mics with my same receiver while my other 2 are repaired with no added installation. For me the investment is well worth it to know I'll have 4 working mics all the time with 4 years of warranty. Having a redundant set is just peace of mind and ability to even setup a 2nd rig if needed.
