Series premiere. State Representative Tommy Caffee is blackmailed for lucrative government contracts by a local Irish mob boss when his long lost brother Michael returns to Providence after seven years on the run from the law.

Season 1. Michael clashes with Freddie; Tommy's effort to stop a new highway brings him close to the most powerful man in the state.
