Vizio. Fix your damn software. A sound bar that needs to be power cycled almost every time you use it is USELESS. I WILL MAKE IT MY LIFES MISSION TO MAKE SURE NO ONE BUYS A SINGLE PRODUCT OF YOURS UNTIL YOU FIX THIS
This is easily the worst sound bar I have ever owned.
Does it sound good? Yes. Great, even.
But here is the problem. It CONSTANTLY just... Refuses to play sound until you unplug it and plug it back in. Contact Vizio customer service? They tell me it's normal behavior. Lazy company. Crap product.
Update: Still the world's biggest pile of crap sound bar. Just to let everyone know. Do not buy this POS unless you're ready to power cycle it every time you want to, you know, hear something

2/17/23: no power cycle.. lmao jk of course there was
2/18/23: 2 power cycles because after a power cycle it couldn't detect Atmos content. Real winner of a product Vizio has here.
3/6/23: went out of town for a while there but rest assured, I had to power cycle it when I got back.
Final update: I gave up and bought a CHEAPER Atmos sound bar that is so far working very well. Sounds about as good, though the subwoofer isn't AS good, I was already turning the sub down on the elevate anyway.
Do NOT waste your time, money and mental health on this worthless POS developed by people that have apparently never even tried using their products for more than 5 minutes.
Vizio support is worthless, you will spend hours on the phone talking in circles because they don't know anything about audio products (I mean that literally, they have ZERO knowledge on the product) but they also don't know English. They tried to charge me to return a defective unit (blown speakers out of the box) the cost to return it was going to be $150 IIRC and they will temporarily charge you the full cost of the unit which will not be reversed for about 60 days after sending the product back to them.
List of problems:
- if wall mounting, the side speakers sag and look terrible
- Poor QA
- The app you can use to control and update firmware is the most frustrating POS app you will ever use
- the sound bar needs to be rebooted just about every time you turn your TV on
- Lack of fine EQ controls
