Like others who have purchased this AppleCare+, after receiving my watch and setting it up I noticed that APPLE said I did not have active AppleCare+. I had to contact Amazon to find out why my AppleCare+ never activated automatically like it was supposed to and why I never received the proof of coverage email. After speaking with 2-3 different people I was told I would receive the proof of coverage for my plan within 24-48hrs and that it would automatically activate in that time frame, neither of which occurred. I had to contact Amazon again and speak to 4-5 more people before finally just receiving a refund because no one could assist me otherwise. One agent even went so far as to tell me I never purchase the AppleCare+ plan despite have proof of purchase via email, which I provided him. He then passed me to another agent. I would give this 0 stars if I could for the hassle and waste of time alone. It would be far more efficient, safer, and easier to purchase AppleCare+ through Apple directly, after you’ve received the item, to ensure you’re covered. Your watch automatically comes with a 2yr limited warranty, this is not AppleCare coverage, so be weary of seeing that and thinking you have coverage.
