    I installed my Midea split 12k unit against instructions, offset in my slightly oversized (40 inch) window. These foam pieces helped greatly as I needed 2 of the original foam blocks to close the gap on one side of my AC. The foam quality and material appear to be identical to the OEM blocks included, if you need more or have a damaged piece these should perform as well as the original provided ones. I've had them installed about 2 months now, at this point I can't distinguish the original foam blocks from the ones I purchased here.
