First off, it comes with a power adaptor. Hey Donner -- say so in the product description, and in the photos.Pros:1) Darn good pedal! 150 built-in presets -- a few are excellent, most are not, but every one of them is editable with 80 nicely modeled amps, 50 cabs, and well over a hundred effects, drive, delay, reverb, EQ, compression, and gate. It has a 60-second looper (which I haven't used), and 40 drum loops in 10 genres.2) Navigating through the presets is a cinch (but turn the volume down).3) Editing/creating presets and adjusting amps and effects is fairly easy and intuitive, once you learn how.4) The iPhone app connects easily and works well; it’s easy to navigate the presets and effects, but not so easy to adjust them.Cons:Biggest issue: If this thing had a touch screen, and if the screen were larger, the device would be practically flawless. Other issues:1) Fairly steep learning curve.2) Badly written user manual.3) Important buttons are dark-on-dark: impossible to read in anything except bright light, and easy to touch by accident.3) Android app installs but does not run on my Amazon Fire HD8, so I can’t evaluate it.4) Windows software is COMPLETELY USELESS – it installs, but doesn’t recognize the device. This means no firmware updates, and no importing IRs.5) No pass-through: the pedal must be powered on, so you'll probably want to create a couple "clean" presets for pass-through.I’m a living room guitarist, and it was time to step up from my cool little Donner Alpha Cruncher to a multi-effect pedal. I tried – and returned – two different multi-pedals before this one (both of them more expensive). It was a rocky start, but I really like the Donner now. The user manual is simply awful – it doesn’t even tell you how to edit and save a preset (use the “store” button) – and when it does tell you how to do something, it’s convoluted and confusing (I still haven’t quite figured out how to assign the effects pedal). But a couple hours fiddling around will get it working for you.Software: the iPhone app works very well for navigating presets and effects, but it’s difficult to use the app’s tiny control wheels to change things like volume, etc. I use the knobs on the pedal for this. The Android app installs but does not run on my Amazon Fire HD8 tablet, so look elsewhere for that review. I really wish I could control the device from the nice big screen on the Fire. Hey Donner -- make it Fire-compatible, please.And Windows? HUGE FAIL: it installs on Windows 10, but the software refuses to recognize the device when it’s connected, even though Windows recognizes it. Without the Windows software, there will be no firmware updates, and no importing IRs. YO DONNER: FIX THIS, IMMEDIATELY!Donner doesn’t provide a list of presets/amps/effects/etc., so I made one. It's darn good, but I spent all my time fiddling with the pedal and not playing the guitar. I'm back to the Alpha Cruncher -- one button each for delay, chorus, and distortion, and you really don't need much more than that. Maybe I'll add a single-use pedal or two down the road, but I'm a much happier guitar player.
