Great Podcast for St. Louis Cardinals Fans whether you are casual fan or a die hard fan. Great also if you're native to STL or far flung such as myself (in Arizona). Daniel Shoptaw (@C70, from Arkansas) and Allen Medlock (@amedlock1, Oklahoma) are two St. Louis fans that do a great job of breaking down the latest information regarding the birds on the bat.
I've been listening to Daniel and Allen's podcast here on Audible since I found it a bit of a year ago and I look forward to each Friday when their latest episode drops. Thanks guys for always giving a long distance fan a much needed dose of the birds on the bat!

Story
You know it's a weird week when the team goes from four games out to 5.5 within the span of ten hours. Daniel (@C70) and Allen (@amedlock1) talk about the brief Royals series and how that shook out. After that, they get into the trade deadline talk, discussing what the Cardinals might need and what they might give up. There's a discussion of the All-Star Game and Allen's contention Ryan Helsley should have had company in Texas. They then look ahead to the Cubs series before Allen's internet connection tells them it's time to wrap it up. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/...

A Wonderful and Moving Tribute
Reviewed: 06-19-24
Will Leitch does a wonderful job in hosting today's MLB Morning Lineup in its commemoration to the late, great Willie Mays who passed away the day prior. Will and MLB provided a very short and loving tribute to Mays and incorporated several quotes from those who knew Mays and spoke fondly of their interactions. #RIP24

MLB writer (and author) Will Leitch is the Friday host for this podcast. Will does a wonderful job on this short format podcast. It gives listeners a chance to hear will twice a week here on Audible (counting his "Seeing Red" podcast he hosts on Mondays with Bernie Miklasz). It's always great to hear Will talking baseball!

Great new baseball podcast!
Reviewed: 06-17-24
This is a new MLB podcast that is very similar format to their daily MLB Morning Lineup email newsletter; the only difference is the podcast is only on weekdays and the newsletter is daily. It is a great way to consume the information from the previous day's baseball games and Monday's covers highlights from the previous weekend. It's a rotation of hosts from the MLB writers and after the first week they have all done a phenomenal job presenting this short format update. This format is perfect to get the casual baseball fan up to speed on everything that happened without taking too much time.
