Trader Joe's is opening its 1st location in this metro Phoenix city

If you love Trader Joe's chili lime rolled tortilla chips and their special ice cream sandwiches and you live in the East Valley, you have reason to celebrate. The nationwide grocery chain announced plans to open a branch in Chandler in 2024.

The new store will be located at the corner of Arizona Avenue and Ocotillo Road, making it the southernmost location of the franchise in the Valley. Although there are over a dozen other Trader Joe's in the metro Phoenix area, the closest to Chandler are in Gilbert and Queen Creek.

"We've consulted our maps and compass and have found a terrific location for a store in Chandler, AZ. We are proud to be joining the neighborhood," Trader Joe's announced via their website.

The announcement did not specify the exact date the store will be open.

What to expect at the new Chandler Trader Joe's

The grocery chain specializes in affordable wines and Trader Joe's-branded frozen food and snacks.
