Chris Brown's bodyguard convicted of assault

WASHINGTON — Chris Brown's bodyguard was found guilty of an assault charge on Monday morning in D.C. court.

Christopher Hollosy was accused of punching a man outside of a Washington hotel in October. Hollosy and Brown were both charged with misdemeanor assault.

Hollosy told police he punched Parker Adams after he tried to get on Brown's tour bus. Adams told police Brown and later Hollosy punched him after he tried to get in a photo Brown was taking with two women.

The judge said she made her decision about Hollosy's guilt based on testimony from the limo driver who saw the whole incident.

Hollosy was stoic the whole trial in court.

Sentencing for Hollosy is scheduled for June 25.

This development may not bode well for Brown, whose trial is set for later on Monday morning. The judge has found that Brown hit the victim in the arm, and that Hollosy did not have right to step in because Adams did not respond with excessive force.

Brown faces up to six months in jail, because he's still on probation for hitting his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
