Modern people don't recognize a genius any more than they recognize an idiot. Thus it could be stated that there is no difference between them. It's not that they are dying out, as much as that there is no longer the sensory apparatus, the discernment, the honesty, to see them as such. Victims, as we all are, to the steamroller of 'equality'.
