The Rec Room at Caroline Manzo's Home Looks Like an Actual Sports Bar
The Manzo'd with Children family can play pool and belly up to the bar, all without leaving home.
Caroline Manzo has all her children, and one supremely adorable grandchild, staying with her at her New Jersey manse. Over the past couple of months, the Manzo'd with Children family has wiled away the time in self-quarantine by watching movies, building forts, working out, and cooking chicken pot pie. (And fried chicken. And pizza. Come on: This is a family of restaurant pros!) But when they need a break from it all, the gang can always hit a sports bar — without leaving home.
In her recent Instagram Stories, Lauren Manzo Scalia offered a glimpse inside the pub-style recreation room at her family home. The room has a pool table lit up with stained glass lamps. There's a gallery of framed photos and sports memorabilia, and a mounted, flat-screen TV that's perfect for watching the game. (Or at least the Super Bowl commercials.)
At the bar, seating options include a black stool and a studded leather chair. In Lauren's photos, Chris Manzo sits in the latter while sipping a martini. And though Caroline's kids seemed interested in playing pool that evening, the room could also be used for movie night: Just beyond the bar, leather recliners seem to be facing a projection screen.
