Is MJ Javid Offended That She Hasn't Been Invited to Reza Farahan's New Backyard?
MJ explained her complex feelings about not being invited to her Shahs of Sunset castmate's recently redone backyard.
Reza Farahan recently redid his backyard, and, of course, some of his Shahs of Sunset castmates have stopped by to enjoy the new outdoor oasis. However, as he and Mercedes "MJ" Javid continue to mend their friendship, she has yet to receive an invite — and she has complex feelings on the matter.
"[I'm] definitely not offended," she said on Part 1 of the Shahs of Sunset Season 9 reunion. "But, of course, I'm extremely disappointed, and it hurts me very, very much."
Reza shared new details about his revamped backyard during the show, explaining that "with hardscaping and landscaping, it was, you know, a few hundred [thousand dollars.]" Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi chimed in, "You have a cactus that cost like 20 grand."
In the video above, Reza explained the work he put into the outdoor space. "We did our pool and spa, we did our hardscaping, we did our landscaping, we did our lighting, we redid the front. I redid the garage: ribbed the slap out, drywall, all new storage," he said. "All the paint touchups, all the irrigation was redone...We even put a little walkway so when you park your car, you can actually not walk through Adam [Neely]'s beautiful sidewalk landscape job."
