Melissa and Joe Gorga Speak Out Against Teresa Giudice: "Enough's Enough"
The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple sheds light on Teresa Giudice for being "toxic" and "difficult" to get along with.
It’s safe to say that there won’t be a reconciliation between the Gorgas and Giudice family anytime soon. Since the Season 14 premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, viewers have seen how Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice maneuver within their friend group after officially cutting ties at the end of Season 13.
The Envy boutique owner even told a RHONJ producer she "really" didn't want to answer any questions about her sister-in-law. During a recent appearance on Sherri, Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, revealed if they would ever bury their long-standing family feud and move forward with Teresa.
“Not right now,” Melissa said of her family’s division. “You know what it is when someone is never happy for you or your marriage, it becomes very difficult when — sometimes you have to take the toxic and say listen, this is very toxic.”
Melissa continued to explain that she’s tried to get the family on one accord for years, but at some point, she had to realize and say, “Enough’s enough, and we’re done with the toxic."
Joe also weighed in on the topic, noting that it’s difficult not being in contact with Teresa, considering they were “best friends growing up,” however, he must stick by his wife’s side.
“[Melissa’s] been my life for 20 years. I have three children with her – that is my life,” he shared. “You have to embrace my life. You can’t try to tear my life down for what reason? I have to make a choice… and I can’t be around somebody trying to hurt me.”

Although the parents aren't on speaking terms, the Gorga and Giudice children remain in contact with each other. Melissa revealed as much when she appeared on the May 12 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen after Andy asked for an update on them.
"They text 'happy birthday' and all of that," she said, nodding her head. "They don't hang out, but they text."
Teresa expressed similar comments about her and Melissa's kids during a previous appearance in the Bravo Clubhouse in February 2023, sharing that the cousins "text" and "communicate on social media."
Melissa Gorga calls her split from Teresa Giudice "refreshing"
Just ahead of the Season 14 premiere of RHONJ, Melissa opened up about the changes in her life following the rift with Teresa.
"It's such a different season and it's refreshing, especially for me," she told E! News. "I just feel there's like a weight lifted off my shoulders not to have that family drama be the center of it all."
