Travis Kelce’s Romantic Life Before Taylor Swift includes a Dating Show & Spicy WWHL Episode with Ramona Singer

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift may very well be the hottest couple in football right now, let alone on the planet.

But before the Kansas City Chief's tight end fell into the arms of the "Lavender Haze" singer, he had a very interesting romantic life of his own. Although Taylor might be known for her famous exes, Travis has had his own dip into the dating pool — which he touched on during his 2016 appearance during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen while he was promoting his E! dating show, Catching Kelce. 

Travis not only got to meet The Real Housewives of New York City alum, Ramona Singer, during his appearance on the show, but he also got to dish about his love life seven years before he met Taylor in 2023. Read on to learn more about his dating show, his time on WWHL, and what Ramona thinks of him now. 

Before Travis won two Super Bowl championships, the Kansas City Chiefs football player was the star of a dating show, Catching Kelce, which first aired on E! in October 2016. The show had Travis dating 50 women total — one from each state — and narrowing it down as the weeks went on. Travis went into the show looking for a life partner.

"When I'm off the field, I am still in the spotlight," Travis said in the introduction of the show. "I like to go to the award shows. I like to go to the ESPYS and the charity events. I need a woman that can fit in to all aspects of my life and can get along with my teammates and their wives."

Now that sounds like a certain pop star we all know and love who isn't afraid of being in the spotlight.

After seven episodes and weeks of dating, Travis ended up choosing contestant Maya Benberry for his final "catch." Unfortunately, according to E! News, the couple split in December 2016, just months after the show ended.

Travis joined host, Andy Cohen, and RHONY alum, Ramona, on WWHL to dish about his life off of the football field. During one spicy game about his dating dealbreakers, the tight end shared that the third date is very important for him, he likes a confident girl, and he's not a fan of someone who takes a lot of selfies.

He also revealed that having sex before football games isn't the easiest, especially when half of his football games are on the road.

In the seven years since their shared WWHL appearance, Ramona has nothing but kind things to say about the tight end and his rumored beau.

"I think Travis is a wonderful man and Taylor [Swift] is very lucky to have him and he's lucky to have her," she told Page Six. "And I hope they have a magical time together."

Believe it or not, but Taylor Swift has never appeared on an episode of WWHL. That being said, Andy isn't opposed to having the "Shake it Off" singer sit down with him.

"I would love Taylor on the show, oh my god," Andy said during an Ask Andy segment in an August episode of WWHL. "It would be amazing."

Fingers crossed that happens very soon.
