Us humans are stubborn folks, and we all have those things that, rightly or wrongly, we refuse to budge on.
Well, u/DM_Drakkoli recently asked r/NoStupidQuestions, "What is the dumbest hill you're willing to die on?" and we thought we'd share some of the best responses:
1. "For me, it's the idea that there's no such thing as 'breakfast food', and the fact that it's damn near impossible to get a burger before 11am is bullshit."
2. "I shouldn't need to create an account just to see your website, and especially if you're trying to sell me something, you've just lost a customer who doesn't even know what your product is."
3. "Police siren sound effects should be banned in music. Shit freaks me out whenever I’m driving."

5. "Children's menus in nice restaurants should include smaller portions of the normal dishes. My kids can't eat an adult sized entree, but they still want 'real' food over chicken fingers and mac n cheese."
6. "Not everything needs an app or should require me having to use my phone e.g. ordering/paying at a restaurant. I shouldn’t have to use a QR code. I know I probably sound like a Boomer but it irks the shit out of me."
7. "It's really hard to buy thin sliced bread. For a while, stores used to offer thin, standard, thick and extra thick then they just stopped offering thin sliced. It matters if you are trying to reduce the amount of bread you eat and would rather a sandwich was more filling than bread."

10. "Having a high spice tolerance doesn’t mean you’re tough or cool or manly or whatever. 12. "Being a morning person is NOT better than being a night person. Morning people are seen as productive and night people as lazy. It literally DOES NOT MATTER, all that matters is your productivity."
"I got a PhD and played professional sports being a night person. When I was playing sports I would literally workout at 5AM at practice, go back to sleep until 1PM then workout again at 11PM before going to bed at 1AM again.
During my PhD I got up at noon almost every day (sometimes later). And between the hours of 9PM and 3AM I got the best work done of my life before going to sleep. I just work better in the dead silence of night when the whole world is still, AND I prefer to go to sleep right after work.
I would shut my computer down and go lay down. Now that I have kids it hasn't changed either! I go to bed at 3AM, wake up at 7AM and get my kids to school, then back to sleep from 8-11/12 while my wife goes to work. I then get up, get dressed and work from 12-3, pick my kids up from school. They go to bed at 9PM, then I work again till around midnight then just workout or play video games till 3AM again."
14. "The singing of the anthem doesn't need to happen at every damn sporting event unless it actually involves international teams. I see folks say 'keep your politics out of sports!' but then turn around and blow a gasket because someone didn't take off their hat at a baseball game during the holy flag song."
16. "Everyone’s headlights are way too bright now. It’s a hazard and there’s no point in having brights anymore if your headlights are by default blindingly bright."
17. "The Oxford comma and writing hand written thank you notes should be the norm, not an exception."
18. "Pluto is a planet. I know and understand why it was reclassified. Don't care, to me it is always going to be a planet."
