The home run was his first since July 3 and he now has six RBI over his last four games. Bohm went 1-for-5 with three RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's loss to Seattle.

Bohm drove in Philadelphia's first three runs of the game and also came around to score himself in the fifth on a Brandon Marsh single. The third baseman has now hit safely in five consecutive games and in eight of his last nine overall, tallying six doubles and a triple over that latter stretch to go along with five RBI and four runs scored. • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Playing Sunday

Bohm is starting at third base and batting in the cleanup spot for Sunday's contest against Cleveland.

Bohm left in the seventh inning of Saturday's 8-0 win over the Guardians due to a left ankle contusion. The issue doesn't appear serious enough to sideline him for the series finale, and he will face off against Cleveland southpaw Joey Cantillo.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Lifted with bruised ankle

Bohm was removed from Saturday's game against the Guardians in the seventh inning due to a left ankle contusion, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

It's unclear how Bohm suffered the injury but it was bothering him enough to prompt the Phillies to put Edmundo Sosa at third base to start the seventh frame. The 27-year-old went 1-for-2 with a walk before exiting. He should be considered day-to-day.
