An herb garden is a great way to build confidence in the garden. Kids and adults alike will love planting herbs and creating these one-of-kind markers.

Supplies

  • Planter
  • Assorted herbs
  • Medium-sized smooth rocks
  • Acrylic paint pens
  • Acrylic paint sealer
  • Planter with herbs

Step 1:
Plant your desired herbs. Here, we used rosemary, basil, and thyme.

Step 2:
Using a paint pen, jot the names of each herb on a flat stone to use as a garden marker. Embellish with assorted design details (stripes, polka dots, illustrations) using another marker if desired. Use a paint sealer to ensure the design stands up to water.

Step 3:
Once the paint sealer is dry, place the stones in front of the coordinating herbs.
