1Salvaged Materials Outdoor Shower
Jenna PeffleyUsing an old French tub purchased years ago at a flea market, a sheet of corrugated metal, and a outdoor shower fixture, Karen Paez Emile of @milkandhoneylife transformed a corner in her backyard into a dreamy oasis to go rinse off after a dip in the pool or even take a bath alfresco. “We purchased corrugated metal for the backdrop and made holes to run the nozzles,” says Karen. Her husband made the hanging shelf from old driftwood collected during many beach trips.

2Rustic Lakehouse Outdoor Shower
Max Kim-BeeWhile renovating their tiny New Hampshire lake house, homeowners Sheri and Gerry Weber salvaged the home’s discarded garage doors to craft a rustic outdoor shower enclosure on the side of the house. They painted it the same sage green (Cooking Apple Green by Farrow & Ball) as the rest of the house so it blends in. A built-in hinged-door window provides view of the lake while showering.
3Shutter-Style Door Enclosed Shower
Dylan ChandlerTucked amongst lush flowers, this freestanding outdoor shower enclosure at a home in the Bahamas designed by Amanda Lindroth beckons for a quick rinse off or a longer linger. “An outdoor shower comes in handy near the beach,” she says. “This one is located between the pool and the golf cart shed, a convenient stop for anyone heading toward the house after a swim.” The enclosure’s hinged shutter doors mimic the Bahama (or Caribbean) shutters seen throughout the island.
