A viral video of what viewers believed to be a man on a roof pointing a rifle at an Old Louisville street prompted several emergency calls Wednesday, but police say no threat was found in the area.

Louisville Metro Police officers were dispatched to Third and West Oak streets at around 4:30 p.m. on a report of a man firing a rifle on the roof of a building, spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said. Officers determined there was no indication of any gunfire in the area and no one was arrested at the scene.

Mitchell said residents can call the department's tip line at (502) 574-LMPD to provide information about an incident. Tips can be made anonymously.
