Presumed dead after a violent storm, Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is left behind on Mars by his crew, who have begun their voyage back to Earth. However, Watney is very much alive, now alone and stranded on the hostile planet. Now, If he is to survive, he must rely on his ingenuity to signal NASA and figure out a way to bring him back. The out-of-this-world thriller also stars Jessica Chastain, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Kristen Wiig.
In this Fandango Movieclips exclusive clip from The Martian NASA mission members at Mission Control realize Watney may have survived, but disagree on whether to inform his crew. So what must Watney be thinking? Well, he may die from exposure, however, not from the harsh conditions, but rather from bad disco music.
